Overview
The Digital Maturity Benchmark is a model developed by QUT’s Chair in Digital Economy and industry partners to help organizations assess their digital maturity. The model helps organizations identify their strengths and weaknesses, and how to become more digitally transformative.
How does the model work?
The model consists of six digital capability indicators and seven digital impact indicators, developed through comprehensive literature review and consultation with industry experts and advisory panels.
The model helps organisations identify and understand barriers to digital transformation success. This enables them to approach transformation initiatives with greater clarity and purpose.
What does the model help with?
The model enables organisations to assess their digital maturity by identifying key strengths and weaknesses. It reveals potential obstacles to success, allowing organizations to plan and execute digital transformation initiatives more effectively.
Outcomes
KJR released the tool as open-source knowledge, enabling Telstra Wholesale customers to initiate meaningful conversations with end users about digital transformation goals and implementation requirements. This initiative also sparked additional industry research and innovation sprint opportunities.
